Job description

  • provision, coordination and control of workshop work on revisions and repairs of aircraft units in cooperation with the manager of the heavy maintenance line and other workshop managers,
  • quality control of the performance of assigned tasks and at specified intervals, together with maintenance management, evaluate the level of employees of the assigned department,
  • management of the engineering department, planning, CAMO department,
  • assigning technology and planning department staff to individual revisions and projects in cooperation with heavy maintenance line managers and the technical director,
  • management of all documentation related to operation,
  • cooperation in the evaluation of solutions to aircraft technology defects and the implementation of measures to increase its reliability, including regular familiarization of technical personnel with this information,
  • ensuring the conditions for the in-time start and end of individual projects,
  • supervision of the implementation of corrective measures resulting from quality control audits according to 145.A.65(c) within the scope of responsibility of the workshop manager function,
    control over maintenance record keeping as required by Part 145,
  • drawing up a shift schedule for employees of workshops and subordinate departments, allocating employees into appropriate groups and checking compliance with working hours,
  • control of the performance of maintenance certification according to the requirements of Part 145 by personnel authorized to issue this certification,
  • deputizing for the Technical Director in his absence.

  • at least 3 years in a similar position (aviation industry),

  • the ability to work in a team and independently, the ability to accept responsibility, the ability to lead and motivate people, resistance to stress, diligence, flexibility,

  • knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations, excellent knowledge of the aviation maintenance environment, knowledge of management issues and the application of information systems, refined oral and written expression, knowledge of working with the MS Office suite, knowledge of the English language both verbally and in writing, knowledge of technical English,

  • assessment of the efficiency of management of the operation and maintenance department, control and evaluation of work results, assessment and control of compliance with internal processes and internal company regulations within the management of the maintenance department, management of a group of employees according to the operative plan.
