FL Technics, a global provider of aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services and subsidiary of Avia Solutions Group, has completed the acquisition of JOB AIR Technic, bringing the aircraft maintenance company into its growing international network. The transaction, initially announced last year, has now completed after all conditions for the deal were fulfilled.

For several years now, JOB AIR Technic has operated GO Team – a group of specialists capable of performing aircraft maintenance and repairs anywhere in the world, whether in hangars of other MRO providers or even outdoors. Recently, the GO Team completed a demanding major repair - wing corrosion on an Airbus A330 in Dresden.

The fact that we are among 142 finalists in the competition of 1815 nominated companies is a great success and proof that we are moving in the right direction in our business.

CS Soft has developed the JATISmro system in cooperation with JOB AIR Technic, an aerospace maintenance company, which will significantly streamline all processes in the servicing and repairs of commercial airplanes. The system, which uses models based on artificial intelligence and machine learning, is driven by historical data. Based on this data, it is able to predict possible servicing operations as well as the need for materials and tools, allocate human resources and, overall, significantly improve the efficiency of the maintenance process for commercial airplanes. JATISmro has already been in use at JOB AIR Technic for several months and will now be actively offered by both companies to other customers.

While only about 15 percent of total revenues go to heavy aircraft maintenance, which is what JOB AIR Technic's aircraft repair shops specialize in, engine maintenance accounts for almost half of the total. Now, for the first time, the Repairs MRO at Ostrava Airport managed to break into the lucrative engine repair segment.

Thirteen Eurowings Airbuses will arrive at the JOB AIR Technic hangar for maintenance during the winter season 2023/2024. At the MRO Europe event in Amsterdam, this agreement was signed by representatives of Job Air Technic and Eurowings Technik, member of Lufthansa Group. The part of the contract is also winter season 2024/2025 where we will see more Eurowings aircraft in Job Air Technic hangars.
