  • Managing, coordinating and controlling the work of base maintenance line workers.
  • Becoming familiar with the scope of work given on the review well in advance.
  • Planning the number of staff required to carry out the review in liaison with the planners, bay manager base maintenance and the technical director.
  • Reporting on the status of individual works threatening the completion date to bay manager base maintenance.
  • Coordinating and organising the sequence of individual works on a planned revision in cooperation with the planners and group leaders with regard to the material required, the availability of which is verified by the material storekeeper/preparer.
  • In cooperation with the planners, bay manager base maintenance and the technical director, making operational decisions on the provision of spare capacity for other revisions or the need to supplement own capacity from other revisions.
  • Determination of defect rectification procedures in collaboration with team leaders, and in more complex cases with the technologist.
  • Checking that the relevant documentation is correctly completed to comply with customer documentation and EASA Part 145 requirements.
  • Preparing reports on completed revision work for the sales department in collaboration with the bay manager base maintenance, planners and documentarist.
  • Arranging the acceptance and handover of aircraft to customers in cooperation with the Technical Director.
  • Releasing aircraft into service.
  • Ensuring quality maintenance to all requirements and standards.
  • Checking the quality of performance of assigned tasks and at specified intervals, together with team leader and Maintenance Management, assess the level of mechanics.
  • Reviewing and approving the work of staff.

Requirements...

  • secondary school education with high school diploma,

  • documentable 4-year experience on airplanes in JOB AIR Technic authorization,

  • holder of category B1+C or B2+C licenses and a type authorization for the given type of aircraft in the JOB AIR Technic authorization,

  • the ability to work in a team and independently,

  • the ability to lead and motivate people,

  • diligence, responsibility,

  • knowledge of EASA Part 145 regulations,

  • knowledge of working with the MS Office suite,

  • knowledge of technical English,

  • clean record.
